Tuscany
The magnificent Tuscany, heritage of Italian history and culture, and sea and islands full of landings and beaches to discover
The Tuscany it is much appreciated for its centrality in the Italian territory, and also for its proximity to foreign countries close to the northern borders: easily reachable, then, from everyone, and with many valid continental bases. The marinas present are among the most equipped and functional in the Italian panorama, and the itineraries are certainly interesting
Starting from the Tuscan coast,Elba island and theCapraia island they represent the two most interesting islands on the northern side; the first by extension and circumnavigation, for the typicality of the coastal towns, and for numerous bays that can accommodate your navigation. The second, which is located between Elba and Corsica, for its particularity and uncontaminated nature.
One week of navigation, or two, they may be sufficient for an exploration of Elba or even Capraia, while a different navigation can easily lead you also in the exploration of Corsica, starting from its north-east side.
They are not to be missed, probably in a different itinerary, the other Tuscan islands that overlook the southern side of Tuscany: Giglio e Giannutri.
If your navigation plan allows it, you could go south of Elba, visiting the island of Pianosa.
The island of Montecristo, instead, however fascinating, it can only be visited with a special permit, difficult to obtain.
